One of the experts of the long-term Hungarian Strategy for Ageing People.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Experience in research:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">eldercare,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">long-term care,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">migrant care workers,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">ageing on the labour market,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">social policy and ageing,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">care and ICT.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Former international research projects:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MOBILATE,<\/li>\n<li>ENABLE-AGE,<\/li>\n<li>EUROFAMCARE,<\/li>\n<li>Ageing and Employment,<\/li>\n<li>Employment Initiatives for an Ageing Workforce,<\/li>\n<li>CARICT,<\/li>\n<li>HELPS,<\/li>\n<li>FUTURAGE,<\/li>\n<li>MOPACT and on other international research projects (e.g. Japanese projects: PIE).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Participation in HAPPY AGEING (Ambient Assisted Living\/AAL, 2009-2011) project which focused to improve independency and quality of life of older people living at home by developing three modules based on technology:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. a lifestyle monitor, able to record main activities taking place in the home and compare them with habits of the monitored subject;<\/p>\n<p>2. a navigation assistant to support the user in moving in close environment;<\/p>\n<p>3. a personal assistant characterized by two main groups of functions.<\/p>\n<p>Elaborator of several action researches, model programmes and intervention programmes (e.g. Skype Care, 2011-2015).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zsuzsa Szeman (1952-2025), professor of sociology of the Doctoral Programme of the Institute of Mental Health of Semmelweis University, Hungary.
