Dr. L\u00e1z\u00e1r\u2019s clinical interest focuses on providing complex treatment for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchial asthma, and she has been actively involved in counseling patients with pulmonary hypertension and lung transplant. Her research activities aim to better understand the pathomechanism of COPD, to identify important clinical disease phenotypes in order to introduce novel therapeutic interventions and develop personalized therapy. Besides teaming up with colleagues at the department, Dr. L\u00e1z\u00e1r is also regularly recruiting and mentoring graduate students in her research projects.
