{"id":113,"date":"2017-09-07T16:44:51","date_gmt":"2017-09-07T14:44:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/scholar.semmelweis.hu\/chinopoulos\/?page_id=113"},"modified":"2025-10-08T10:37:07","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T08:37:07","slug":"rppa","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/scholar.semmelweis.hu\/chinopoulos\/rppa\/","title":{"rendered":"RPPA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Reverse Phase Protein Array for Mitochondrial Proteins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Overview<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>R<\/strong>everse <strong>P<\/strong>hase <strong>P<\/strong>rotein <strong>A<\/strong>rray (<strong>RPPA<\/strong>) is a microdot-blot platform that allows the quantitative measurement of protein expression levels in a large number of biological samples, simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Mission statement<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/rppa.hu\">RPPA facility<\/a> hosted in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/biokemia\/en\/\">Department of Medical Biochemistry<\/a>\u00a0of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/english\/\">Semmelweis University\u00a0<\/a>aims to quantify the expression of all mitochondrial proteins in healthy and solid tumor samples.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Participants<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We accept samples from all over the world. So far, 10 Institutions of the Hungarian Healthcare System and the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/semmelweis.hu\/hbtb\/\">Human Tissue Brain Bank\u00a0<\/a>have pledged their participation to this project by providing healthy and solid tumor samples.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Grant support<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The RPPA facility is 100% funded by the &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/nkfih.gov.hu\/funding\/calls-for-proposals-to\">Competitive Central Hungary Operative Programme (CCHOP) European funds for the Central Hungary region<\/a>&#8216; grant VEKOP 2.3.3-15-2016-00012 implemented by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office, endorsed by the Government decree 1762\/2016. (XII.15.).
